A CALUMET CLUB YULETIDE TALE

 Brandon’s House Teenage Counseling Center, Inc. is a free master’s level counseling center located in New Albany, IN.  Each year Brandon’s House conducts a Christmas tour-of-homes to procure funds for the support of its mission.  A component of this event is a chauffeur driven limousine tour  followed by a gourmet dinner.

On December 11, 2004, the dinner was at the Calumet Club in New Albany, Indiana.  Mr. Mark Bliss was the very congenial host.  His attentiveness to details and purposeful efficiency made our tour committee’s job less demanding.  Mark accommodated our every request.

 The Calumet Club was an impressive venue that enhanced the culinary experience.  The adjacent, paved parking lot afforded convenient access to the spacious event room.  The dining tables were arranged in a manner that enabled us to attend to the guests with a minimum of interruption of their holiday cheer. The  kitchen, serving, and  audio-visual amenities were well adapted for our requirements.

 I would encourage individuals and organizations to consider the Calumet Club for their next special occasion.  I am confident everyone  will be delighted with this historical renovation.
